New UK Promo for The Mummy Explains Why It’s Worth Paying For

The Industry Trust is the UK film, TV, and video industry’s consumer education body, promoting the value of copyright and creativity. They are currently running a campaign titled “Moments Worth Paying For,” which inspires viewers to respect the value of creative content by demonstrating that film, TV, and video have an entertainment value worth paying for.

Sofia Boutella, star of Universal’s upcoming The Mummy, is the latest actor to appear in an exclusive trailer for the campaign, which you can check out below.

In the video Boutella talks through the thrilling and spectacular action featured in The Mummy and how seeing it on the big screen gives the biggest and best impact, showing that the terrifying and heart-stopping moments really are worth paying for.

The Industry Trust’s consumer education campaign continues to deliver the core message – inspiring audiences to choose the big screen experience, and the trailer directs UK audiences to the industry-funded film search engine FindAnyFilm.com, which signposts them to legal content sources so they can book, buy, and watch at their convenience.

Chinese Trailer for “The Mummy” Offers New Footage

A Chinese trailer for Universal’s The Mummy has been released, and it offers a lot more about the film, the plot, the characters, and the action that we’ll be seeing. While it seems like there won’t be intense horror, there are plenty of horror elements present throughout. Definitely more than enough to spark my interest!

Tom Cruise headlines a spectacular, all-new cinematic version of the legend that has fascinated cultures all over the world since the dawn of civilization: The Mummy. The cast also includes Annabelle Wallis (King Arthur, “Peaky Blinders”), Jake Johnson (Jurassic World), Courtney B. Vance (“American Crime Story: The People V. O.J. Simpson”), Oscar winner Russell Crowe (Gladiator), and Sofia Boutella (Kingsman: The Secret Service, Star Trek Beyond) as the titular character.

The creative team on this action-adventure event is led by director/producer Alex Kurtzman and producer Chris Morgan. Sean Daniel, who produced the most recent Mummy trilogy, produces alongside Kurtzman and Morgan. The script is by Jon Spaihts and Christopher McQuarrie.

Look for The Mummy in theaters on June 9, 2017. For more info in the meantime, keep your eyes on themummy.com.

Welcome to Sofia Boutella Source!

Welcome to the first and only fansite for Sofia Boutella!! I fell in love with Sofia when I saw her as Jaylah and watched everything I could find on her so I just had to make a fansite for her. Whether you’re a fan of her dancing or acting, I hope to provide you the most up-to-date news and photos from Sofia’s life and career. Currently the site is still a work in process. Soon I’ll be adding a press section, video gallery, as well as completing the photo gallery. If you’re one of Sofia’s French fans and have some of her French films and TV appearances, I’d be most grateful if you’d send me a copy. Any donations are welcome in fact!

‘The Mummy’ New Trailer Shows More of Sofia Boutella’s Creepy Villain

Don’t mess with an angry mummy.

Universal dropped the terrifying new trailer for its latest take on “The Mummy” on Sunday, which shows Sofia Boutella’s evil mummy, Ahmanet, on a quest to swallow the earth. But don’t worry — she won’t if Tom Cruise has anything to say about it.

Cruise’s Nick Morton unearths Ahmanet from her crypt, and, as seen in the first trailer, dies in a plane crash while trying to transport the mummy. However, he’s resurrected himself, and is joined by Annabelle Wallis’ Jenny Halsey and Jake Johnson’s Sgt. Vail on his quest to stop Ahmanet from destroying the world.

“She will not stop until she makes our world her own,” says Russell Crowe’s Dr. Jekyll of Ahmanet in the new footage.
